The Time of Our Lives is the second extended play (first not to be live) by American pop recording artist Miley Cyrus. It was released on August 28, 2009 under Hollywood Records as a Wal-Mart exclusive. It was specially made to reciprocally promote Cyrus's joint clothing line with Max Azria. Cyrus worked with several producers and writers on the album, mainly Dr. Luke and John Shanks, the latter who produced Cyrus's successful song "The Climb." Musically, the pop album has an inclination towards rock and represented a musical transition for Cyrus. The songs are generally inspired by love and portray some of Cyrus's personal struggles and life, though she only co-wrote "Before the Storm." The extended play received critical success, with reviewers claiming it was an intelligent transition. The Time of Our Lives found commercial success by reaching the second position of the Billboard 200 for two weeks and becoming Cyrus's eighth top ten album. The lead single from the album, "Party in the U.S.A.," became Cyrus's highest charting and Hollywood Records' fastest selling single; it reached number two in the Billboard Hot 100 and the top ten in various nations. She is also to release another single in correlation to the 2010 film, The Last Song, entitled "When I Look at You". The album was promoted through mainly live performances at numerous venues, notably Cyrus' first international tour, the Wonder World Tour, and at her controversial performance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.

Title : Simple Glass Orbs Tutorial
Software : Corel Draw (11) -- Optional
OS : Windows (2000) -- Optional
Level : Intermediate
Optional Prerequisite Skill : Basic Shape (ellipse), copy, Drag / move, resize, Fill Tools, Fountain Fill / gradient, Interactive Transparency Tools

1. File > New
2. Dengan menggunakan 'Ellipse Tools' buatlah sebuah lingkaran sempurna. Untuk mendapatkan lingkaran sempurna tekanlah 'ctrl' pada saat dragging membuat lingkaran. Kita namakan object ini lingkaran dasar.
3. Klik Fill Tools > Fountain Fill Dialog (F11). Gunakan setting seperti dibawah ini. Untuk warna bisa dirubah sesuai selera. Tetapi tetap terapkan aturan gradient dari warna yang lebih tua / gelap disisi luar ke warna yang lebih muda / terang disisi dalam ( Gunakan intuisi kalian ). Berikan Warna yang lebih gelap lagi untuk warna Outline



Hasilnya akan seperti ini



4. Buat sebuah lingkaran lagi dengan menggunakan ellipse tools (tidak perlu sempurna, lebih cenderung ke ellipse ) diatas lingkaran dasar dengan ukuran lebih kecil dari lingkaran dasar. Berikan warna putih. Jangan lupa hilangkan outline nya dengan cara klik object, kemudian klik kanan tanda silang pada pallet warna. Kita namakan object ini lingkaran glow



5. Berikan efect gradient dari putih menuju transparant menggunakan Interactive Transparency Tools pada object lingkaran glow. Lakukan seperti gambar dibawah ini (well, seperti biasa gambar mampu menggantikan sejuta kata dan kadang lebih mudah dipahami ) :P



6. Thataaa...... Jadilah Glass Orb kita....



Dengan sedikti variasi inilah hasil yang saya peroleh



See.... hampir sama dengan yang di Photoshop kan....
Karena pada dasarnya apa yang mesti dibentuk untuk membentuk suatu orbs memang sama. karena software hanyalah sebuah sarana....
Meskipun demikian masing masing software tetap memiliki ciri tersendiri

Halo!! Kali ini, gw akan memberikan jurus ampuh untuk bikin2 desain unik di CorelDRAW. Aku menemukan jurus ini di CorelDRAW 11 (sekarang aku pakai ver. X4) ~well mungkin juga bisa dipakai di versi2 sebelumnya.

Saat liyat artwork pinky ini..



Apakah reaksi kamu:
1. "Ah.. Ini sih keciiiil.. Gw juga bisa!!"
2. "Hmm.. Lumayan rumit.. Caranya gimana tuh?"
3. "Wow!! Awesome.. Ini beneran pake CorelDRAW?!?"
4. "Gilaaa!! Ajarinn!! Ajarin!!!! Ajarinn!!!"


Apapun pilihan kamu, minumnya tetap teh sosro.. *Ah, gw ngapain sih?!* Believe it or not.. kamu bisa bikin artwork rumit macem ini dengan amat sangat mudah. Gw jamin nggak nyampe 10 menit.. (Hmm, kecwali kalo emang pd dasar kamu yg lelet sih-- ya jangan salahin gw.. >_<)

Oke..

1. Buka CorelDRAW, bikin satu curve aneh / unik make pentool. Curve bikinan gw agak sedikit berbau tribal..


2. Warnai aja terserah.. Gw pake warna merah..


3. Tanpa basa-basi, keluarkan docker rotasi dg cara klik Window >> Dockers >> Transformations >> Rotate (shortcut Alt + F8). Ubah beberapa opsi di sana: Angle-nya 45°, sumbu rotasi di pojok kanan (tanda 'check' ijo).


4. Klik 'Apply to duplicate' sebanyak 7 X !! Objek unik kita akan 'berkloning' secara melingkar. Dan satu bentuk unik sudah kita dapatkan!!! Surprise?!?


5. Tidak hanya 1 bentuk itu saja. Dengan memindah sumbu rotasi (pojok kanan, kiri, atas, bawah dst dst) kita bisa dapatkan bentuk2 menarik dari objek kita itu!! Tentu saja, setelah mengklik 'Apply to Duplicate'..

See?! Nggak nyampe 5 menit kan?!

6. Cara lain untuk membuat bentuk modular yang berbeda adalah dengan memindah sumbu rotasi secara manual. Caranya?! Klik 'objek unik'.. klik sekali lagi untuk merubah cara transformasi (dilambangkan tanda panah melengkung di sisi2 objek). Lihat ada simbol bulatan dengan titik di tengah itu?! Drag/geser sesuai keinginan kamu!! Di sini, gw pindah agak menjauh ke arah kanan. Dan setelah di-'Apply duplicate' 7x jadilah bentuk baru..


7. Dengan beberapa perpindahan sumbu rotasi, kita bisa menciptakan lebih dari 1001 bentuk baru dari 1 bentuk unik itu!!!!!! It's fun!!!!
